Riparian Areas Protection Regulations (RAPR) Assessments

The BC Riparian Areas Protection Regulation (RAPR) requires that any proposed development within 30 m of a watercourse that provides fish habitat or flows into fish habitat be assessed by a Qualified Environmental Professional. Most municipalities in BC require RAPR assessments as part of the development permit process for proposed work near streams, lakes, wetlands, or ditches.

Our team has successfully completed many RAPR assessments in watersheds throughout Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast. If you are needing assistance with an assessment for your development we are here to help! Feel free to reach out with the details of your project, our QEPs would be happy to answer your questions and guide you through the approval process.
