Madeleine Guimond

Born and raised in the Comox Valley, Madeleine has always had a deep passion for the outdoors, which has profoundly influenced her academic and personal pursuits.

Madeleine recently graduated from the University of Victoria with a BSc in Biology specializing in forest ecology and is the newest part of the Current Environmetal team. Her education was complemented by field experience gained through volunteering with various stream keeping groups and other environmental non-profits on Vancouver Island. 

In her leisure time, she can often be found looking for new plants, playing the fiddle and exploring her backyard from the alpine to the sea.
